Instructors

Shinsa-04-10-2010-135Gennadiy Ravvin, Sempai is an instructor at Marubashi Dojo. He started studying Kyokushin Karate in Moscow, Russia in 1989. His training continued until 1993 when he and his family moved to the USA. Gennadiy joined Marubashi Dojo headed by Shihan Tom Flynn and Sensei Toni Flynn in the fall of 2003 and has continued to train under their tutelage since. In April 2007, Gennadiy had an opportunity to visit and train at the original Kyokushin Honbu in Tokyo, Japan. Gennadiy graded for his Shodan on April 10th 2010 and for his Nidan on August 2nd, 2014.

Nicholas Savery, Sempai is an instructor at Marubashi Dojo and in Meikyo Dojo located in Hudson New Hampshire. Nick began studying Kyokushin in 1993. In 1998 Nick began nick_seienchinstudying with Shihan Tom Flynn. Nick graded for Shodan (first degree blackbelt) under Shihan Flynn on October 23rd 2004. In January of the following year he began operating Marubashi dojo together with assistant instructor Gennadiy Ravvin and has been teaching since. Nick graded for Ni-dan (second degree blackbelt) on April 10th 2010. He also holds degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and works as an embedded software engineer. Currently Nick runs Meikyo Dojo full time.
